I would also often place our little guy in there to read to him, or let him watch me play with our dog. It’s surprisingly light so it’s easy to move around a room or home so baby can lounge while watching his favourite person do their thing. We would use mamaRoo pretty much every day, whether it was while folding laundry in the living room, or while we were shovelling a quick dinner into our mouths. Optional add-on newborn insert to keep tiny ones snug those first few weeks.Seat reclines to relax baby (but this swing is NOT intended for sleep we all know the ABCs of safe sleep that are Alone, Back, Crib!).

4 built-in sounds (we loved “Wave”) plus an MP3 plug-in port for you to play your own playlists (the same input that old-school headphones use).

Allow me to introduce you to one of our favourite pieces of baby gear! With so many on the market I sure was glad to have personally seen the 4moms mamaRoo in action with a friend’s first cutie (hi Sarah!), making this decision easier while we were registering. Back is always best for sleep of course, but swings are a great way to give baby a different view of his or her world while giving you a few minutes to regain feeling in your arms. Baby snuggles sure are sweet, but mums and dads need to do stuff like eat, pee, and fold laundry which means sometimes baby has to hang out somewhere that isn’t your arms.
